In my Hometown

Good morning, my loves! Before you can conquer the world you need a strong home. If that feeling of a safe home where your heart is enrooted is missing you will most probably not be able to be away for too long. You might wander but will get nowhere. It sounds paradox, I know.
I had (and still have) a very loving and supportive home which made me emotionally strong. Therefore it's easy for me to be open for changes and new things. I experienced enough unconditional love to feel confident even when I fail. So what about the people who didn't have a home like that? I have to admit, I have no idea how you can really make up for that. Probably you can't.

So this sunny Friday I was out and about in my hometown. I often times nag about it as it is small and not very fashionable or anything but then it's usually fun as every corner is filled with crazy/sad/fun/embarrasing memories. Plus you meet people from your school days in the streets which is fun, too. My favorite reaction: "I knew you would do something in fashion. You always looked different." Different being good, I suppose.

Next week I will be in Berlin for two days attending the Marc Cain fashion show. I am very excited to meet the other bloggers and of course see Marc Cain's latest collection. You can experience it with me as there is a live broadcast via www.bunte.de. It is starting Thursday at 2:30pm with behind the scenes, red carpet and VIP arrival and then the show is at 4.30pm. Don't miss it!
