Flower Embroidered Dress in Marrakech

ZAFUL Dress
FURLA Bag
MANGO Shoes

Hi loves, before I'll share my big Morocco travel diary with you in a few days, I wanted to show you the outfit I wore while exploring the souks (markets) of Marrakech.

This beautiful dress by Zaful had been hanging in my closet for a while waiting for the right moment and this was definitely it! It fits perfectly into the culture and colours of this amazing city.
I have to be honest and say that I am not a fan of headscarfs for women in muslim culture because whatever argument you may have, it always has an aspect of suppression and inequality. Nevertheless covering your body in long dresses makes total sense in North Africa's climate. The sun can be so glaring and the streets very dusty so that you feel like you want to protect your skin, plus nothing beats a wide, long dress without underwear in 40 degree wheather;)

When travelling to Arabic countries I always like to get a henna tattoo. I'm normally not into tattoos at all but here yet again it's part of the culture and I like to dive right in.
I had mine done at an organic pharmacy without any chemicals which was great, only it didn't last the 2 weeks they promised, more like 3 days unfortunately.

What about you? Do you dress according to the country you travel to? xx
